Police spokeswoman Lejla Trivun told Hina that the Konjic police
were informed around 22 pm on Tuesday that an unidentified person
had entered the house of a 67-year-old Andjelko Andjelic and opened
fire at the people who were there at the time.
The police went to the site, where they discovered the bodies of
Andjelko and his 47-year-old daughter Mara. The other daughter, a
29-year-old Zorka, was seriously injured and died later in the
Konjic hospital, while Andjelic's son, a 30-year-old Marko,
sustained serious injuries and was hospitalised.
Trivun said the police had launched an investigation into the
crime.
Andjelic was among the first Croats to return to the village which
had been almost completely destroyed during the war.
The crime was condemned by local Catholic and Muslim religious
dignitaries and the municipal head of Konjic.
