ZAGREB, Dec 24 (Hina) - A Croatian government's working group in charge of the preparation of Croatia's request for joining the European Union on Tuesday held its second meeting, under the chairmanship of European Integration Minister

charge of the preparation of Croatia's request for joining the
European Union on Tuesday held its second meeting, under the
chairmanship of European Integration Minister Neven Mimica and
Foreign Minister Tonino Picula, the European Integration Ministry

Present at the meeting agreed on further steps regarding the
request for joining the EU and additional documents, including the
recently adopted resolution on Croatia's association with the EU.
According to the statement, also discussed was progress made in the
implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement.
Apart from members of the working group, also present at the meeting
were the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Zdravko Tomac,
the chairman of the European Integration Committee, Mate Granic,
and the chairman of the Committee for Interparliamentary
Cooperation, Ivo Skrabalo.
