SARAJEVO, Dec 19 (Hina) - The leadership of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday supported the party's having agreed earlier in the day with the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) on the division of
seats in the state Council of Ministers and the government of the Croat-Muslim entity. The agreement removes all remaining obstacles to the establishment of the new executive authority in the country.
SARAJEVO, Dec 19 (Hina) - The leadership of the Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ) of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday supported the
party's having agreed earlier in the day with the Party of
Democratic Action (SDA) on the division of seats in the state
Council of Ministers and the government of the Croat-Muslim entity.
The agreement removes all remaining obstacles to the establishment
of the new executive authority in the country. #L#
The two parties agreed to nominate SDA vice-president Adnan Terzic
premier-designate of the new Council of Ministers (Bosnian
government). Terzic's party will also appoint the state ministers
for refugees and civil affairs.
The HDZ will hold the posts of ministers of finance, foreign trade
and security, while the ministers of foreign affairs, justice and
communications will be appointed from among the Serb people.
The state presidency is expected to formally name Terzic premier-
designate at a session on Friday.
