ZAGREB, Dec 13 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament on Friday morning unanimously adopted a resolution which requests of the United States to allow Zvonko Busic to transfer to a prison in Croatia where he would serve the rest of his
sentence.

unanimously adopted a resolution which requests of the United
States to allow Zvonko Busic to transfer to a prison in Croatia
where he would serve the rest of his sentence. #L#
Busic was sentenced to 30 years in prison in the United states in
1976 for highjacking a plane. He is to remain in prison until
September 12, 2006.
The resolution obliges the government to request of a Council of
Europe's competent body to be a mediator in the process of Busic's
transfer to a Croatian prison.
The parliament will inform the government and the U.S congress of
the adopted resolution. A Croatian parliamentary delegation in the
council of Europe will inform the Council of Europe's Parliamentary
Assembly of the resolution.
The parliament adopted the resolution with 117 votes pro, without a
debate.
