The session will be called at the government's request.
MPs will discuss two items - Croatia's national programme of
drawing closer to the European Union in 2003, on which the
parliament is expected to adopt a special document (resolution),
and a draft memorandum on economic and fiscal policy between the
government and the International Monetary Fund.
Tomcic called on all parliamentary working bodies to meet on Monday
and Tuesday and do their share in the preparations for the
extraordinary session.
At its 26th session the parliament will debate on a draft resolution
which requests Bruno Busic's transfer from a U.S. prison to a
Croatian.
