"The SDP and I strongly criticised the HDZ and Tudjman's policy
towards Bosnia-Herzegovina," Racan told reporters after meeting
representatives of the ruling coalition.
Racan said that he had had the opportunity to personally tell
Tudjman that he disagreed with his policy, adding that he saw no
reason to change his stand.
"If it is true that Tomac said what he said, I regret it, because
Tomac is debating with himself since for a long time he had
supported the views which the SDP still supports," Racan said. He
added that the SDP, as a democratic party, would decide how to "cope
with such differences".
