PODGORICA, Nov 29 (Hina) - The Main Committee of Montenegro's Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) decided on Friday to nominate the party's vice-president and current parliament president, Filip Vujanovic, a candidate at presidential
elections scheduled for December 22.

Vujanovic, a candidate at presidential elections scheduled for

The party leadership also nominated Svetozar Marovic a candidate
for the first president of the new federation of Serbia and
Montenegro.
It is still uncertain, however, whether the Social Democratic Party
(SDP), the DPS' coalition partner, would accept the nominations or
nominate its own candidates.
Vujanovic told reporters on Friday that he had accepted his
candidacy.
