PRISTINA, Dec 2 (Hina) - An organisation calling itself "Shqiponjat e zeza", which translates as Black Eagle, has sent a threatening letter to Chinese shopkeepers to close their shops in Gnjilane municipality and leave Kosovo, the
U.N. Mission to Kosovo (UNMIK) said on Monday, Radio Kosovo reported.
PRISTINA, Dec 2 (Hina) - An organisation calling itself "Shqiponjat
e zeza", which translates as Black Eagle, has sent a threatening
letter to Chinese shopkeepers to close their shops in Gnjilane
municipality and leave Kosovo, the U.N. Mission to Kosovo (UNMIK)
said on Monday, Radio Kosovo reported. #L#
"You have seven days to close your shops and leave Kosovo. In the
contrary, we shall use violence, for the purpose of not only killing
you, but killing the owners of the premises you use as well," reads
the letter.
UNMIK's police have launched an investigation into who is behind
the letter which has upset the Chinese shopkeepers.
Chinese shops have sprouted in Pristina and other Kosovo towns
after the arrival of international peace-keepers on Kosovo.
