of civil servants.

"We will also not give up our demand that the salary base of civil
servants be raised," Ihas told reporters.
At recent talks with public and civil servants' unions the
government rejected all demands for an increase in the salary base
and coefficients of civil servants, although it did secure an
additional 200 million kuna for an increase in the salaries of
elementary and secondary school teachers.
