ZAGREB, Dec 2 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula and the international mediator for the two Bosnian entities, Christian Schwartz-Schilling, said in Zagreb on Monday that solving the problem of refugee returns was a key
condition for Croatia and Bosnia to join Euro-Atlantic associations, the foreign ministry reported.
ZAGREB, Dec 2 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula and
the international mediator for the two Bosnian entities, Christian
Schwartz-Schilling, said in Zagreb on Monday that solving the
problem of refugee returns was a key condition for Croatia and
Bosnia to join Euro-Atlantic associations, the foreign ministry

Picula and Schilling agreed that the Croatian government had in the
past several weeks made encouraging steps towards solving some of
the above mentioned problems.
The two also agreed about the importance of further financial
support from the international community to Croatia in the
implementation of the Refugee Returns Action Plan, the ministry
said in a statement.
Picula and Schilling stressed the necessity of further reforms of
Croatia's policy to enable sustainable returns at the local level.
In this context, the two hailed initiatives to facilitate
cooperation in the area of infrastructure between Dubrovnik,
Trebinje and Herceg Novi, the ministry said.
