The international community's High Representative to Sarajevo,
Paddy Ashdown has repeatedly warned Bosnia might face a financial
collapse in the spring 2003 due to the enormous domestic debt.
The federal deputy finance minister announced a comprehensive
strategy for the resolution of this problem to be prepared by June
next year.
She said the Bosnian Council of Ministers had concluded a new stand-
by arrangement with the International Monetary Fund, which should
avert a financial disaster of the country.
