section.

Kosovo, Michael Steiner, on Monday evening signed an
administrative order abolishing the division of Kosovska Mitrovica
into an Albanian and a Serb section. #L#
Steiner said at a press conference held in the northern, Serb part
of the town that Kosovska Mitrovica was united again under the
order. As of today, the office of the parallel Serb municipality in
the northern part of the town is closed and there will no longer be
any parallel structures of authority.
Steiner said that as of Monday only the UNMIK (U.N. Mission to
Kosovo) had legitimate authority in the entire town.
