Croatian Television on Friday that he expected representatives of
the Croatian authorities to arrive at the Prevlaka Peninsula on
December 15 at the latest, after the UN Mission leaves the region.

"I expect us to be on Prevlaka by December 15 at the latest, after
many decades during which Prevlaka was controlled by various armies
in various regimes," Racan said.
He added that the "Situation on Prevlaka will be determined by a
temporary regime whose protocol is in its final stages."
Racan thanked all those who helped in this, especially UN
Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
"His pressures to have a temporary regime solve open border issues
helped Croatia take control of the peninsula," Racan said.
