ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - Zagreb attorney Miroslav Separovic said on Monday he had not had contact with retired General Mladen Markac, and could, therefore, neither confirm nor refute the writing of some newspapers that he would be
defending the general in talks with investigators of the Hague-based international war crimes tribunal.

Monday he had not had contact with retired General Mladen Markac,
and could, therefore, neither confirm nor refute the writing of
some newspapers that he would be defending the general in talks with
investigators of the Hague-based international war crimes

Separovic told Hina over the telephone that he had not spoken to
Markac, so he could neither confirm nor deny the writings in the
press.
In the past several days the media reported that General Markac was
one of three suspects with whom the Hague investigators requested
to speak.
Zeljko Olujic, the attorney of retired General Ivan Korade who on
Monday received a request for talks fro the Hague prosecution, said
on Monday he had not yet contacted the investigators. The request
for talks do not specify the subject of talks, he said.
The attorney said he believed that the talks would be conducted in
the next month.
