"There is no reason why General Korade should not accept the
invitation for an interview," Olujic told Hina. He said he did not
know what his client should talk about with the representatives of
the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia as he
did not receive any document from the Hague-based court.
Olujic also said he did not what Korade was being charged with.
The government yesterday reported it had received a request on
Thursday for assistance in organising an interview between ICTY
prosecutors and two persons in their capacities as suspects.
Sources close to the executive authority have revealed the two
persons are Korade and another retired general, Mladen Markac. The
government, however, has not confirmed this.
Markac has not been available for comment. He is reportedly hunting
in the Lika region.
