ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - The head of the government's office for cooperation with the Hague-based international war crimes tribunal, Orsat Miljenic, confirmed on Monday that retired General Ivan Korade had received the request by the
tribunal's prosecution that talks be organised between The Hague's investigators and the general in his capacity as a suspect.
ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - The head of the government's office for
cooperation with the Hague-based international war crimes
tribunal, Orsat Miljenic, confirmed on Monday that retired General
Ivan Korade had received the request by the tribunal's prosecution
that talks be organised between The Hague's investigators and the
general in his capacity as a suspect. #L#
"He received the request," Miljenic said when asked whether Korade
had been to visit the government.
Cases so far testify that after the request is handed, the suspect's
attorney established contact with the investigators to ascertain
the subjects which interest the investigators, as well as a date for
the talks.
Korade's attorney, Zeljko Olujic, was not available to comment.
