According to available information concerning the privatisation of
these agro giants the Dakovstina, Orahovica, PPK Kutjevo, Vupik,
PIK Vrbovec and IPK Osijek would be completely privatised while the
Jasinje co-op from Slavonski Brod would be sold as an individual
business unit and Belje and the Zupanja Sugar co-op would be
privatised at a later date.
The six companies will be privatised through public tender,
initially for their nominal price and if they do not attract buyers
then a discount price could be offered.
This proposal could find its way before the government this week but
before that it needs to be processed by the relevant working
bodies.
