ZAGREB, Nov 11 (Hina) - 'Croatia Bus' workers will on Tuesday attempt to disclose the true owner of that company through the Central Deposit Agency. This was concluded on Monday at a meeting of employees and representatives of the Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP). #L# Employees who have been blocking the entry to 'Croatia Bus' since last Tuesday in protest are demanding that the true ownership structure of the company be determined. Employees claim that former director Leon Sulic proclaimed himself the owner of the company of his own will. The president of the New Union, Mario Ivekovic, claims that the majority owners of 'Croatia Bus' are small shareholders, i.e. employees, and that Sulic illegally transferred shares to his own name. Employee representatives accused Sulic of illegally running the company, tax evasion and business operations outside the legal account. They discussed these matters with representatives of the HFP - the owner of 21 percent of the shares in the company. The HFP promised to support employees' demands that temporary measures be introduced to prevent any illegal dealings in the company until a final solution is reached. These measures could include the court appointing a temporary board and that creditors be allowed to initiate bankruptcy proceedings and appoint an executor. Employees should talk with the Justice Ministry representatives on Wednesday to ask that court proceedings against Sulic, be accelerated. The Zagreb Municipal Court rejected a request by the Prosecution that Leon Sulic, the former director of the company, be taken into custody. The Zagreb Municipal Prosecution raised an indictment against Sulic in early May for misuse of authority in business and forging documents. The indictment has still not become legally binding.
