HSS has a clear attitude how and with whom to head privatisation,
Tomcic said following a meeting of the party's presidency.
He told journalists that the HSS never proposed one of their own
members to head the Croatian Privatisation Fund but believes that
with regard to the actual circumstances, that position should be
assigned to a HSS man.
This party's concept is not to back down from privatisation and
state capitalism as has been speculated in the media and the public
lately, Tomcic said.
He believes that it is high time that the most influential Croatian
political parties concentrated on the issue of privatisation
because it was often neglected in favour of some other general
political issues.
