ZAGREB, Nov 4 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament's Committee on the Constitution, Rule Book and Political System on Monday allocated around 6.8 million kuna (around EUR906,666) for the work of 16 political parties for this year's last
quarter.

Constitution, Rule Book and Political System on Monday allocated
around 6.8 million kuna (around EUR906,666) for the work of 16
political parties for this year's last quarter. #L#
The Committee decided to provide funds for two new parties - Libra
and the Croatian Bloc - from budgetary reserves.
Under the Committee's amended decision on funds for political
parties, the Social Democratic Party was given the highest amount -
almost 2.1 million kuna, the Croatian Democratic Union was
allocated 1.6 million, the Croatian Peasants' Party 736,440 kuna,
the Croatian Social Liberal Party 731,921 kuna, Libra 365,458 kuna
and the Croatian Bloc 244,977 kuna.
This year around 27.4 million kuna (around EUR3.65 million) was
secured from the budget for the work of political parties.
