ZAGREB, Oct 16 (Hina) - Zlatko Matesa is the new president of the
Croatian Olympics Committee (HHO). He was elected at a general
assembly of this senior sports body. #L#
Matesa won 74 votes while his opponent, Luciano Susanj, won 39 votes
of a total of 113 delegates attending the assembly.
The former premier of the Croatian Democratic Union Government,
will take over the presidency of the HHO from Zdravko Hebel who
resigned last summer.
