The donation proves France's commitment to respect for women's
rights and recognition of their essential role in the building of a
more just and democratic society, said the French Ambassador to
Croatia, Francis Bellanger.
Bellanger signed memoranda on cooperation with the heads of the two
centres, B.a.B.e.'s Sanja Sarnavka and ROSA's Slavica Kusic.
Between November 25 and December 10 B.a.B.e. will broadcast video
clips and messages on TV, featuring men who speak against violence
against women.
The purpose of the ROSA project is to improve the financial and
social status of women and decrease their poverty by helping them to
start their own businesses.
