ZAGREB, Oct 22 (Hina) - The US "Wheelchair Foundation" on Tuesday handed over to Croatian invalids the first 15 out of 568 wheelchairs donated to the Croatian Alliance of Associations of Physically Disabled Persons (HSUTI).

The total value of the donation is 261,280 US dollars, or 460
dollars per wheelchair.
The donation was presented by the commanding officer of US troops
for Europe, General Joseph W. Ralston, who initiated the campaign.
