Adriatic-Ionian Initiative began a meeting in Trieste, Italy, on

The meeting, led by Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi, has pooled
representatives of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece,
Slovenia, Yugoslavia and the host, Italy.
The ministers, including Croatia's Tonino Picula, are to consider
the achievements of this group and give support to the continued
cooperation among the member-states and their efforts aimed at
coming closer to European integration processes.
Italy has taken over the one-year-long chairmanship over the
Initiative.
