Dragan Covic of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Sulejman Tihic of the Party of Democratic Action and
Mirko Sarovic of the Serb Democratic Party swore to respect the
Bosnian Constitution and confirmed readiness to continue working
on the implementation of political and economic reforms.
The Bosnian Presidency is a body established in line with the
results of the recent general elections. In line with the
Constitution, one of the first steps to be made by its members is to
appoint a Council of Ministers designate.
However, this will happen after the constitution of the state
parliament, but even then the establishment of the new government
will not be simple, considering the equal balance of forces among
the three national parties and a large number of smaller moderate
parties.
