The Hague-based tribunal announced earlier that the main subject of
the talks would be cooperation between Yugoslavia and the ICTY,
especially the issue of war criminals who are still on the run, such
as Ratko Mladic, for whom del Ponte claims is in Serbia, being
protected by the military. The talks will also focus on access to
archives and witnesses.
