Del Ponte's visit to Zagreb ends her tour of countries in the
region, during which she discussed cooperation with Yugoslav,
Kosovo and Bosnian officials.
During her visits to Belgrade and Sarajevo, Del Ponte expressed
dissatisfaction with Croatia's failure to extradite General Janko
Bobetko, announcing that this, along with the hand-over of General
Ante Gotovina, would be the main topic of her talks with Croatian
officials.
Prime Minister Racan said that the Croatian government would wait
for a ruling of the ICTY's Appeals Chamber on its appeals and the
opinion of the Constitutional Court, after which it would act in
line with law and hand the indictment against Bobetko to the
competent court for further procedure.
