Premier Ebeid said Egypt was fully open to Croatia, stressing that
all doors in Egypt were open for Croatian businessmen. He expressed
interest in trade and services which could set foundations for
further trade between the two countries.
Granic pointed out the pharmaceutical and food-processing
industries (Pliva and Podravka), mechanical engineering and
electronics (Koncar, Djuro Djakovic), and Croatia's shipyards.
The Croatian official proposed that Egypt be a partner-country at
one of the future Zagreb Fairs.
The two officials also talked about the situation in the regions,
the statement said.
