SPLIT, Oct 20 (Hina) - The national headquarters of Croatian Homeland War soldiers will strongly advocate that the Committee for the Promotion of Truth About Homeland War begins preparations for a referendum on cooperation with the
Hague-based war crimes tribunal as soon as possible, the president of the association, Mirko Condic, told reporters in Split on Sunday.

Homeland War soldiers will strongly advocate that the Committee for
the Promotion of Truth About Homeland War begins preparations for a
referendum on cooperation with the Hague-based war crimes tribunal
as soon as possible, the president of the association, Mirko
Condic, told reporters in Split on Sunday. #L#
He said that the incumbent authorities continued to disappoint a
large portion of the Croatian people with its moves. According to
him, the government is trying to turn the public against General
Janko Bobetko through the media.
Condic said it was shameful that Prime Minister Ivica Racan and his
people are trading with Carla del Ponte.
