Witness Ante Mamic, a Croatian Army officer, was a member of the
Military Police's 72nd battalion in 1992. Although he was a driver,
he worked as assistance coordinator for the battalion. Mamic said
he knew most of the indictees, and that he had seen inmates in cells
and in the prison yard while taking walks, but he had not noticed
anything unusual about them.
Witness Vedran Perisic, a former military policeman who worked in
the prison as a guard, gave contradictory statements.
