ZAGREB, Oct 14 (Hina) - Croatian yachting ports in August recorded a ten-percent increase in the number of tourists and overnights as against August 2001, the Central Bureau of Statistics said on Monday, adding that marinas in
Sibenik-Knin County were the most visited ones.

ten-percent increase in the number of tourists and overnights as

August this year saw 180,300 tourists stay in Croatia's yachting
ports, accounting for 259,800 overnights. There were 170,600
foreigners among them, an increase of nine percent as against the
same time last year, who accounted for 246,600 overnights.
Domestic tourists, a total of 9,600, recorded a 29-percent increase
in arrivals and of 24 percent in overnights (13,100).
