ZAGREB, Sept 30 (Hina) - The Tourism Ministry and Croatian Post Bank (HPB) on Monday signed the first agreement on business cooperation in financing small enterprise in tourism, within the government's programme called "Encouragement
for Success". The government programme plans to, over the next three years, increase the accommodation capacity by another 100,000 beds, employ about 20,00 persons and increase tourist spending by about 1.5 billion euros.

in financing small enterprise in tourism, within the government's
programme called "Encouragement for Success". The government
programme plans to, over the next three years, increase the
accommodation capacity by another 100,000 beds, employ about 20,00
persons and increase tourist spending by about 1.5 billion euros.

Tourism Minister Pave Zupan Tuskovic said this was the most
favourable programme of financing tourism in Croatia, with a 0.5 to
5 percent interest rate.
Prime Minister Ivica Racan, who was present at the signing, said the
project "Encouragement for Success" was one of ten projects of the
Croatian government which were being specially stimulated.
According to him, the implementation of the project will be
monitored every two months of which the public will be informed.
