WASHINGTON WASHINGTON, Sept 28 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation, that arrived in Washington on Friday for the annul sitting of the International Monetary Fund, will hold many meetings with representatives of banks and other financial
institutions during the session of the IMF and the World Bank and after it until the middle of next week.

Washington on Friday for the annul sitting of the International
Monetary Fund, will hold many meetings with representatives of
banks and other financial institutions during the session of the
IMF and the World Bank and after it until the middle of next week.

A spokeswoman for the Croatian Finance Ministry said the members of
the delegation, who are senior officials of the ministry, and their
interlocutors would consider the enhancement of the cooperation
between Zagreb and banks such as Deutsche Bank, Dresden Bank,
Paribas, the Japanese group Daiwa and some other Japanese banks.
According to Sanja Mardjetko-Kurecic, special emphasis will be
given to the talks with officials of the Deutsche Bank on its
possibilities of financing the road construction in Croatia.
The Croatian delegation will meet senior managers of credit
agencies such as J.P. Morgan and Nomura.
It will also hold talks with executives of the IMF and the World
Bank, and their talks should revolve around a new stand-by
arrangement with the IMF.
According to announcements of Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac, the
new arrangement will be based on the government's economic
programme, endorsed by the parliament this summer.
