PRISTINA, Sept 26 (Hina) - By granting Yugoslavia membership to the Council of Europe, Europe is denying the existing of new institutions in Kosovo and just as in the case of Serbia and Montenegro, it insist on the preservation of
status quo, Pristina's daily in Albanian "Koha Ditore" reported on Thursday.
PRISTINA, Sept 26 (Hina) - By granting Yugoslavia membership to the
Council of Europe, Europe is denying the existing of new
institutions in Kosovo and just as in the case of Serbia and
Montenegro, it insist on the preservation of status quo, Pristina's

The daily also said that the silence of Kosovo's leadership had
contributed to the current situation.
Commenting on Yugoslavia's joining the Council of Europe, the daily
said that the pressure from the European Union did not aim at
regulating relations in the disturbed Balkan region, but at
maintaining status quo in Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo.
