LJUBLJANA, Sept 23 (hina) - The issue of debts of the old Ljubljanka bank remains to be a succession and not bilateral issue, Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek said in parliament on Monday commenting on an Opposition question
whether his government changed its attitude as suggested by President Milan Kucan after visiting Sarajevo.

"The issue cannot be solved by unilateral moves or bilaterally, but
within succession," Drnovsek said in parliament
Drnovsek said that the issue of old foreign currency savings
accounts in former Yugoslav banks was being solved in Basel, with
the mediation of the Bank for International Settlements. He also
ruled out a possibility of bilateral agreement with savings clients
in Croatia, Bosnia and Macedonia.
