against Ivica Rozic at the Gospic County Court. #L#
Rozic is a defendant in the so-called Gospic Group war crimes trial.
The Rijeka County State Prosecutor's Office asked that this
investigation be extended regardless of the trial in Rijeka, to
include the murder in the first degree of Milena Vidovic in 1998.
Rozic is suspected of having placed an explosive device that
wounded and then twenty days later led to the death of Vidovic from
Ostrovica, near Licki Osik. Vidovic was a Bosnian citizen.
Deputy Rijeka County State Prosecutor Doris Hrast told journalists
that the most important thing to do was an exhumation of the body to
determine whether or not poison had been placed in the explosive
device.
According to Hrast, the investigative proceedings in the Rozic case
should be continued in about ten to fifteen days.
