ZAGREB, Sept 18 (Hina) - The government does not have any document showing that the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague would issue an indictment against Croatian Army General Janko Bobetko and in case this happens the government will
immediately inform the public about it, Croatian Vice Premier Goran Granic said in parliament on Wednesday.

this happens the government will immediately inform the public
about it, Croatian Vice Premier Goran Granic said in parliament on

"If you know something about it and you are keeping it a secret, this
is horrible, and it is even more horrible if you don't know about
it," Anto Kovacevic of the Croatian Chriatian Democratic Union
said. Kovacevic was the one to raise the question of general
Bobetko's possible extradition.
He reproached Granic for conducting a deal-making policy with the
Hague-based tribunal.
Granic said the government was only implementing a constitutional
law on cooperation with the war crimes tribunal, adopted by the
parliament.
