"It is now absolutely clear that the Croatian government initialled
the agreement hastily, inexpertly and without any backing from the
parliament, and that it lacks the courage to admit it was wrong and
revoke the agreement," Granic said, adding that Croatian experts
and politicians urged revoking the agreement.
If the government does not do so, the DC will on Monday initiate the
signing of a petition calling for a referendum to decide on whether
to reject the agreement, the DC leader said.
Granic also announced the possibility of initiating a suit before
the Constitutional Court. Even though the agreement has not been
ratified, it has already caused negative international-legal
implications, he concluded.
