SOUTH AFRICAN COAL ARRIVES IN CROATIAN PORT

PLOCE, Aug 24 (Hina) - The Cypriot merchant ship Kater Wave sailed into southern Croatia's seaport of Ploce with 63,834 tonnes of high quality coal from South Africa. #L# The is the biggest cargo ever to arrive at the Ploce port aboard one ship, usually constituting the average monthly turnover. The coal was imported for the Split-based Dalmacijacement. Around 250,000 tonnes of high quality coal from overseas countries will be transhipped in Ploce annually as part of a new venture, said port managing director Ivan Palovic. (hina) ha
