The shipment was delivered through the international maritime
Jadroagent agency.
According to information released by Ploce port, the Mostar company
is currently using about 30 per cent of the port's capacity. Ploce
is the first Croatian port to transfer freight for the Bosnian
market which has almost returned to its pre-war loads of four
million tonnes per annum.
Last year, the Mostar aluminium company imported 236,522 tonnes of
raw materials and at the same time it exported 54,030 tonnes of
goods for European markets and other foreign markets abroad.
In keeping with a new contract, to date 82,825 tonnes of freight has
been transported from Mostar and it is expected this will reach over
300,000 tonnes before the year's end which means "Alumnij" is still
the largest business partner for Ploce port.
