Condic repeated that the agreement on the border, initialled by
Slovene and Croatian Premiers Janez Drnovsek and Ivica Racan, was
void in political and legal terms because the Croatian parliament
had not ratified it. The sovereignty of Croatia and its citizens
should be protected from the aggression by Slovenia, he said.
Condic said that the main culprit for the tense situation in Piran
Bay was Prime Minister Ivica Racan, whom he urged to resign.
