Over 3,000 exhibitors from more than 35 countries, including
Croatia, participated in this year's bus operator fair, which took
place between 19 and 21 August.
The head of the Croatian Tourism Board office in Frankfurt, Zlatko
Dezeljin, said the response of visitors and business partners at
the Croatian pavilion was good.
Also presented at the fair was the tourist offer of Primorje-Gorski
Kotar County and several leading Istrian hotel companies.
Dezeljin said that German tourists traditionally visited the
northern Adriatic region of Kvarner and Istria, but the number of
arrivals in Dalmatia this year increased as well.
German bus operators are satisfied with the announced prices for
next year, which will remain at this year's level or increase by 3-5
percent, Dezeljin said.
The bus operators suggested Croatian tourist workers be cautious
since the economic crisis in Germany was deteriorating and unlikely
to improve soon, which they said would affect the number of German
tourists vacationing abroad.
