Imamovic's work, which won the best short feature film award at the
recent Motovun Film Festival in Croatia, was met with rapturous
applause by the audience in the Bosnian capital.
Bosnia's and the region's biggest film festival will feature 130
films from 36 countries, including the most important works in the
short, documentary, and feature category.
The event also includes a special festival of animated and feature
films for children.
Among the special guests of this year's edition is British director
Mike Leigh, whose retrospective will be screened as part of the
"Tribute" programme.
One of the festival's sponsors is the Croatian Embassy to Bosnia-
Herzegovina, through the mediation of which the Sarajevo public
will be able to see some of the best work of recent Croatian
production.
The Sarajevo Film Festival closes on Aug. 24.
