Spokesman Sven Lindholm stated this decision was spurred by the
issuing of an arrest warrant for the leader of northern Kosovo's
Serb National Council, Milan Ivanovic.
Lindholm added that Most was democratically entitled to make such a
decision.
Albanian members of the Kosovo Election Commission had objected to
the verification of Most for the election, claiming that among its
ranks were members of the armed formation Cuvari Mosta (Keepers of
the bridge).
The OSCE Mission said it had no information to that effect.
