BELGRADE, July 19 (Hina) - Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica said on Friday that this was not the time for early presidential elections in Serbia, scheduled for September 29. He said that the constitutional charter of Serbia and Montenegro should be adopted first. #L# Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic said that in the next several days a session of the presidency of the ruling DOS coalition would be held at which it would be decided how many candidates will DOS have. So far, Federal Vice Premier Miroljub Labus has announced his candidacy. Other candidates include the Mayor of Cacak and president of the New Serbia - a coalition partner within the DOS - Velimir Ilic; attorney and president of a non parliamentary party, Pravda (Justice Party), Borivoj Borovic. Other possible candidates could include the Serbian Vice Premier in charge of Kosovo and president of the Democratic Alternative, Nebojsa Covic, and Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica, even though Kostunica never clearly stated that he would run for Serbia's President. The mandate of the current president of Serbia and Hague-based war crimes tribunal suspect Milan Milutinovic expires December 29. (hina) it
