The Motovun Propeller award was received by one of the film's
writers and producers, Don Mullan.
The German film "Barbecue Grill" by Andreas Dresen won the Fipresci
International Critics' Award.
Bosnian director Ahmed Imamovic's "Ten Minutes" won first prize in
a competition of on-line films, as well as a EUR1,000 prize by the
Croatian Internet provider HiNet.
The festival's leaders Rajko Grlic and Boris T. Matic said they were
very satisfied with what had gone on in the Istrian hilltop town of
Motovun over the last five days of the festival's duration.
It is estimated that attendance at this year's edition was 20
percent bigger than in 2001, and that 200,000 people visited the
festival's web-pages.
