ZAGREB, July 20 (Hina) - Seven Croatian workers, slightly injured in the Kosovo power plant fire, are employees of different companies and not only of the Koncar firm, the Croatian foreign ministry reported.

According to a statement the ministry issued earlier in the day,
they were employees of the Koncar company. Later, the ministry
reported that they were employed by different companies.
These seven workers were admitted to the Pristina hospital and
treated for the effects of inhaling smoke, but later were sent to
their base, i.e.. a hotel in Kosovo Polje.
Unfortunately one Croatian, who worked for an Austrian company and
whose identity is not yet established, lost his life in this
accident. The circumstances of his death of a Croatian, are still
unknown.
Croatia's Ambassador to Macedonia, Aleksandar Milosevic arrived at
the spot of the accident to be informed of the circumstances of the
tragedy.
The fire broke out in the plant in the town of Obilic on Friday
night, and was most probably caused by a thunderbolt. According to
agencies' reports, the fire was extinguished on Saturday, and 34
workers were injured in the accident.
