So far, Federal Vice Premier Miroljub Labus has announced his candidacy. Other candidates include the Mayor of Cacak and president of the New Serbia - a coalition partner within the DOS - Velimir Ilic; attorney and president of a non parliamentary party, Pravda (Justice Party), Borivoj Borovic. Other possible candidates could include the Serbian Vice Premier in charge of Kosovo and president of the Democratic Alternative, Nebojsa Covic, and Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica.
