The President of the Assembly of Serbia, Natasa Micic, claims that
she will call for the election after the end of the parliamentary
debate in an extraordinary session that is under way and will most
likely end on Friday, July 19.
The parliamentary president announced last week that the election
would be called for in the legislative period and as foreseen in the
Constitution of Serbia - no later than 30 days prior to the
expiration of the current presidential mandate.
The current president and ICTY suspect Milan Milutinovic's mandate
expires in December this year.
