Some deputies advocated a decrease in the stock capital necessary
for the establishment of a bank. Under the bill, it is necessary to
ensure 40 million kuna (approximately 5.5 million euros) for this
purpose.
Some MPs proposed that the banking system should no longer be
controlled by the Croatian National Bank but by an agency which
would control the entire financial system.
Some suggested an antitrust agency in the banking system.
